Position Description
Interested in a career in the green jobs field?! Soil Born Farms Urban Agriculture and Education Project seeks youth interested in careers that involve sustainable agriculture, healthy cooking, healthy food distribution, and green marketing. As part of our year-round program, youth will work within a team of 15 and regularly engage in organic food production, habitat restoration, local food access projects, and community service.
Applicants should be willing to learn new skills, maintain a positive attitude, and work outdoors for several hours during varied weather conditions.
Applicant Eligibility Requirements
♦ Youth must be 16-21 years old to apply
♦ Youth must live in Sacramento County
♦ Youth must meet federal low income requirements by WIA Eligibility Guidelines
